Ericsson is Bringing LTE to the Country

Ericsson has been pushing the reach of its LTE services, and today, they are bringing it to rural areas around the country. Partnering with these regional and rural carriers, will guarantee more people will have access to 4G LTE data speeds. Some of the carriers that will be gaining the benefit of LTE via Ericsson include:

  • Appalachian Wireless (Kentucky)
  • Agri-Valley Communications (Michigan)
  • Bluegrass Cellular (Kentucky)
  • Enhanced Telecommunications Corp. (Indiana)
  • Globecomm (New York)
  •  IT&E (Guam)
  • South Georgia Regional Information Technology Authority (Georgia)
  •  VTel Wireless (Vermont)

As more and more people are moving toward smartphones and tablets, this is only the beginning of the push for more areas to be covered by the higher connectivity of 4G LTE.
