We all knew Verizon would be releasing the Galaxy Tab 10.1. We all hoped it would have 4G. Now, Verizon has officially announced that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available with 4G on July 28. One of the best Android tablets to date combined with the speed of Verizon’s 4G network should make for a great tablet experience.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Android 3.1
- Android Market – with access to apps, Google Books, and Google Movies
- 4G LTE
- 3-megapixel camera (back), 2-megapixel camera (front)
- 1080p video playback on HDTV or other 1080p device
- Access to Samsung Media Hub – store for purchasing or renting movies and TV shows
Pricing is set at $529.99 for the 16GB model and $629.99 for the 32GB model, with a new two-year agreement. A data plan is required for the Galaxy Tab, and goes as follows:
- $30 for 2GB of data
- $50 for 5GB of data
- $80 for 10GB of data
Verizon will also sell a WiFi only model of the 16GB Galaxy Tab for $499.99.
