Microsoft Wants $15 for Every Samsung Android Device

Microsoft is definitely not slowing down with their desire to recoup money from anyone using Google’s Android OS. They already get $5 from HTC for every device, and are now set on getting $15 from the largest Android supplier there is. With Samsung pushing out over 3 million Galaxy S II phones in the past few months, not to mention their countless other devices, Microsoft would stand to make a very decent profit. There is no telling if or when Microsoft will stop getting Manufacturers to pay licensing fee.

Samsung, however, will likely try to negotiate to a lesser fee, seeing how they are a key partner in Windows Phone devices. Between Microsoft and Apple, it seems Samsung can’t catch s break. Let’s hope they get this all sorted out soon.
